What can you do?
Here is the single most important rule for everyone to live by: CONSUME LESS STUFF. Americans consume more energy and resources per person than any other population on Earth. In fact, if everyone on Earth consumed as much as the average American, humanity would require four more Earths just to harvest for resources. Cast your economic vote. Spend your money on sustainable products and a sustainable life style.
Doing your part does require that you rethink your habits but it does not have to be hard. Realize that if you make the changes called for in the following pages, you will significantly reduce your environmental impact. If everyone makes the change, we can completely alter our collective impact on our planet.
